Is this theme appropriate?Food ideas.,?

I’m hosting my sister’s Baby Shower. This is her 3rd child& 2nd marriage; the shower will be small, & initimate. More than likely I’ll host it in my family room. We’ll have about 15 people. I wanted a unique & different theme. Is this flamingo theme appropriate and if so; what type of foods can I prepare to fit into this theme? Flamingo is simaliar to Luau but yet they are totally 2 different themes. Or do you have any unique babyshower Theme Ideas? something kinda far out…but yet;different & classy. My 16 year old idea was a Candly Land theme…

Cool idea! Flamingos are generally associated with Florida. How about a Caribbean punch, Cuban food, tiki torches?

For a fun game beforehand, stick a pink flamingo in one of the invitee’s yards. They have to pay $5 to the mother-to-be (you collect it for her) to relocate it to another invitee’s yard. Then that person has to give her (you) five bucks to relocate it to another invitee’s yard and so on. By the time the party rolls around you can give the mother-to-be a gift card to Target or somewhere for diaper money! It’s even more fun when fun pictures are taken of the “vandal flamingos” with the person who got “flamingoed” and put in a little scrap book for her.
